| 1981 | 80th Birthday Celebration held. Pre-Primary Centre opened under Mrs Coralie Edwards. PSP assistance terminated as of December |
| 1982 | Mr Daryl Fowler appointed Principal. PSP small grant made to finalise outstanding admissions. |
| 1983 | Mrs C Buzza on exchange to Scotland. Mr L Brown on sick leave. |
| 1984 | Mr L Brown retired. OSSCA Day Centre commenced. Mrs P French retires on accouchement leave after 8 years service. Mr Fowler transferred to Rossmoyne. |
| 1985 | Mr V Richards appointed Principal. Mr R Shanhun took up duty as Deputy Prinicpal |
| 1986 | Mr Richards appointed to Kensington for 1987. Old school building burnt on Christmas night. School museum opened. |
| 1987 | Old school building demolished and not restored, plaque placed on site. |
